All In One Week

All in one recent week, Shane:

1.  Stated that he was going to dress better next year instead of wearing all sweat pants and baggy shorts.

2.  Said that he wanted to wear contacts.

3.  Said that he needed braces.

4.  Asked his dad for his cologne.  At least it wasn't the Axe.  :p

5.  Proudly showed us his underarm hair.

Ugh.  Here we go!

Traumatized

I asked Owen how his day was yesterday, expecting that it would be phenomenal since it's the last week of school and all the testing is over.

Imagine my surprise when he said that it was the WORST DAY EVER.

When I asked him why, he replied in a VERY exasperated way that it was his first family life class and it was just horrible.  He said that he learned about things that no kid his age should know about.  He was referring to what a boys private part looks like inside.  LOL!

He continued on to say that THANK GOD THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO SEE WHAT A GIRL'S PRIVATE INSIDES LOOK LIKE!

He said he was traumatized. 

LOL!  I love him.

Bedazzled

I noticed that Owen had a zit on his forehead yesterday so I asked him if he had a zit. He said no. It was a rhinestone.  He said that he was so cool, he was bedazzled. LOL!

National Junior Honor Society Inductee

I present to you the newest member of the National Junior Honor Society:

Shane and his best friend Josie.  They've been best friends since they met in preschool.

See the flower?  Yeah.  The kids were suppose to give that to someone who has supported them and encouraged them.  Apparently, he wanted to complete his pimp daddy look instead of doing as instructed.  :p

 Congratulations, Shane.  That's quite an accomplishment.  We are super proud of you.  :)
