So when your child asks you "Mom, if there is a God, why are there people starving on the streets with no food? Why would he let them starve?"
How do you answer that question with anything other than "I don't know, son. That's a good question."
Especially when that child is so logical and would see right through any bullshit answer I might try to give to him. Even at 8.
Those are the easy questions that I love to deal with as a parent. Not.
