Use To Have

I have 12 pairs of scissors in the kitchen.

Or at least I use to have 12 pairs of scissors it the kitchen.

Apparently they have grown legs and disappeared.

Meh.

Welcome to My Corner of the Web

So, in all of my spare time, I've decided to start a blog. Okay...honestly...one of the main reasons that I decided to start a blog is because I suck.

I love to take pictures. I'm currently editing my pictures from the last two years (I don't suggest waiting that long to edit your photos!) and have whittled it down to about 2,136 to be exact. And, I'm still editing.

I take lots of pictures. Of my kids. Of my friends kids. Of barns and old buildings. Of things that I think are cool. All with my Rebel XT camera. It's a great camera. I also have a Canon S95 point-and-shoot that I carry in my purse. 'Cause that Rebel is heavy! :)

Everytime I take pictures, I think to myself "so-and-so will love these pictures." And I'm sure that they would. If they ever saw them.

So now you know why I suck. Because I never send the pictures to my friends and family. I have good intentions. I just get busy and by the time I get around to it, what's the point? It's two years later. Eh. I'll take more and send those out. Well...it's a vicious cycle. And, I never get those out either.

So here I am. I'm going to try and post pics. If nothing else, I'll stop getting hate mail from my mom because I never send her pictures. Mom...this blogs for you.
