Not Nearly Enough

The best thing ever is to be woken up sweetly by your children at 6:30 in the morning to tell you that they just wanted to tell you bye and to have a great day.

Oh yeah.  That's the best.

Oh no.  Wait.   That's not the best.

The best is when said awesomely sweet child says that (still the best) and then shoves a piece of paper and pen in your sleepy face (in the dark) and tells you that he needs his interim signed.

Yeah.  THAT'S the best.  The very best!

Not.

It's not like he was doing it to hide that he was failing the class or anything.  He had an A.

He was just being lazy the night before and didn't bother to get himself or his stuff together before he went to bed.

Ahhhh.

Payback number, oh who cares.  My mother would say not nearly enough!
